Hurting Hearts Ministries began out of a need that was first felt by its founders in a personal way.

Through time and over the years there has been a sense that there are many Ministers and their families going through difficult and trying times.  However, many times, especially depending on denominational affiliation there is not a lot of places for those Ministers and their families to turn to.  It is in these times when these Ministers and their families have no where to turn that many times they choose to leave Ministry all together.

Hurting Hearts Ministries wants to step into the middle and reach beyond denominational walls serving those Ministers and their families.  We want to be a place of comfort, encouragement and the help that will see them through wherever they may go and whatever they may do.

We also want to be a place that a church or a personnel committee can turn to if for some reason they have had to release a Minister of their duties and help take the burden off of that congregation as well.  Many times a church in this situation wants to help some how but financially can not do so thus causing some emotional hurt with them as well.  Hurting Hearts wants to become the burden carrier so to speak.

Hurting Hearts has been in the baby steps for the last two years getting all of our legalities in place and has not been seeking funding, but as we progress to the toddler stage of our Ministry we are beginning to seek out funding from churches, denominational offices, corporations and private businesses.  We are also in the process of partnering with different Ministries and companies to help provide much of what we will offer.
